It’s been a while since my last post on this blog. Admittedly, I’m gotten so used to the convenience of short facebook posts that I don’t really get around to working on this blog anymore. I also admit to being overwhelmed by the amount of spam that lands in the comments box each day. :p
I think I’ll try and pay more attention to this blog from now on.
For people just tuning in, please know that Kitch now opens Sunday to Friday, 10 am to 9 pm weekdays, and 10 am to 6 pm Sundays.

It’s been a month since we last opened. Everything has been changed. I don’t think a single menu item remains as any of you last tasted it. Am proud to say that we’ve made a solid habit of testing everything we’ll be bringing out. Starting today you can try our reborn pastas and our new salads. 
We’ll be showing you the new items as they come out over the coming days. Please drop by and try them.:)
I’ll leave you with an image that shows what’s going through development right now: our coffee. We’re trying different blends to see what we like most, and which offer a level of flavor that our customers will love. Anyone care to be a coffee tester? Remember those habanero chilis we were playing with over the holidays? Our first item to use it is also the most deliciously obvious: SPICY. BEEF. ADOBO. For the real chili-heads, we offer a bit of habanero paste on the side. Add with caution.

Most people don’t know it, but we at Kitch Cafe actually maintain a not-so-small garden where we grow not-so-easy-to-find vegies. These Habanero Chilis (100,000–350,000 on the Scoville scale of spiciness) are just some of our darlings. I think a diluted dose of this went into one of our recent pastas. A very Merry Christmas and a fantastically Happy New Year to our fans! Thank you so much for making our first month of operations so good. We’ll be back on the 3rd, but we look forward to sharing more of our culinary fun with you then! We’ll be seeing ya! (I’m sure you can guess what our Christmas party game was. ü)

BEHOLD THE NEW MENU!!! TA-DA!! Major changes. Most items now come in “bigger” for people who want bigger servings and “regular” which is the same old for not-so-big-eaters. Pix coming later.

Starting today, we’ll be offering two new items. One is the Chicken Tomato Pasta. The chicken and tomato are stewed together producing a savory broth; all of which is added to the pasta preserving the rich flavor.
